I started working at McKinley in August, 2013. I went to the Instituto Tecnologico de Merida in Yucatan, Mexico majoring in Mathematics. McKinley is a special place for me because it gives me an important opportunity to make a valuable difference in students’ lives. I also enjoy the wonderful people I work with. I love sports and enjoy sharing the skills I’ve learned with children. Being a Dad of two energetic boys, I have developed the special ability to listen, understand their needs, and teach under various situations. The children are the future. I strongly believe that their environment at school is a significant influence to their growth and healthy development. I have lived in Petaluma for thirteen years with my wife and my two sons.

I was born and raised in Petaluma. I have seen many changes over the years, but can’t think of a better place to live. I attended Petaluma High School and attended SRJC. I worked at Head Start in Marin until I had my first child. I have been involved with McKinley School since my oldest started first grade. I am an active member of PTA. I work in the TK morning daycare as well as a Playground supervisor at lunch time. I live with my four children on the west side of town. I can’t  say enough about McKinley School. Everyone is warm and friendly. It feels like HOME and it is a pleasure to come to work everyday.
